AACD is a
confederation of
Alaska's
Soil & Water Conservation districts. The 12 member districts are each
represented by a member on the Alaska Association of Conservation Districts
board. Those Districts whose chairs are serving as AACD officers may appoint
a second district representative to attend AACD meetings as a regular voting
member.
There are three standing committees, with other committees appointed ad
hoc as needed.
AACD meets monthly. Most meets are telephonic. Fall, spring and January
meetings are in person. Telephonic meetings are generally 9:30 a.m. on the
second Tuesdays of each month. For call-in codes, contact AACD.
