The Alaska SWCD can assists educators throughout the district with needs related to conservation and natural resources education. The following programs are available to educators. Find out how to make your students agriculturally literate and ways to incorporate enriching agricultural activities into your classroom.
Curriculum and Classroom Presentations
The Alaska SWCD provides teachers within the district with curriculum, lesson plans, and guest speakers for their environmental education efforts. Services are offered on a special request basis and are dependent upon staff availability and funding. District staff are experienced natural resources professionals who have had training in teaching environmental concepts.
